The company has successfully conducted what it claims to be the world's inaugural livestream showcasing humanoid robots inspecting an operational tablet production line. Over a span of more than 64 hours at Longcheer Technology's facility in Nanchang, eight humanoid robots collaborated to produce and inspect an impressive 17,625 tablets, boasting a remarkable task success rate of 99.99%, as reported by The Times of India. The six-day livestream was meticulously designed to illustrate the capabilities of humanoid robots in real manufacturing settings, moving beyond controlled lab environments. During this extensive demonstration, the robots executed 64,828 tasks across various manufacturing workflows, working alongside human personnel. Their responsibilities included quality inspection on a live production line, where they adeptly adjusted to fluctuating factory conditions, maneuvering materials and human coworkers without hindering regular operations. AgiBot emphasized that this event highlighted the advancing sophistication of AI-powered humanoid robots in industrial applications. The livestream focused on long-duration operations, the coordination of multiple robots, and the collaboration between humans and robots, providing viewers with a genuine perspective on humanoid robots' performances in high-volume manufacturing scenarios. Unlike previous demonstrations conducted in controlled settings, this event unfolded on an active production line adhering to real production schedules.
