British fintech company Revolut is gearing up for a significant valuation increase as it prepares for its eventual initial public offering (IPO). According to a report from the Financial Times, the neobank is aiming for a market capitalization between $150 billion and $200 billion. Previously valued at $75 billion, a notable rise from $45 billion in 2024, Revolut has emerged as one of Europe’s most valuable private technology firms following a secondary share sale. The company's co-founder and CEO, Nik Storonsky, indicated that an IPO is at least two years away, as reported by Bloomberg. In addition, Revolut is planning another secondary share sale in the latter half of 2026, which could elevate its valuation to over $100 billion, as per insights from Pitchbook and the Financial Times. By November 2025, the company had successfully raised a total of $5.89 billion. For the financial year ending December 31, 2025, Revolut reported impressive revenue figures of $6 billion, up from $4 billion in the previous year. The company's net profit also saw a substantial increase to $1.7 billion, compared to $1 billion in 2024. By the end of 2025, Revolut boasted 68.3 million retail customers. Founded in 2015, Revolut offers a diverse array of financial services, including multi-currency accounts, payment and transfer services, cryptocurrency products, and insurance. The company has been aggressively expanding its global reach and has recently applied for a banking license in the United States. Besides its operations in the U.K., Revolut holds banking licenses in the European Union and has a presence in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, Brazil, and the U.S. The neobank also launched services in India last October and is set to begin operations in Colombia this year, having already secured a banking license in Mexico.
