The iconic saga of Halo is being revitalized for today's gamers with the announcement of Halo: Campaign Evolved. Microsoft and Halo Studios revealed the remake on October 24, 2023, marking a significant milestone for the franchise. This reimagining of the original Halo: Combat Evolved campaign is scheduled to hit the shelves in 2026, compatible with Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Xbox and Steam), and PlayStation 5, alongside full support for Xbox Cloud Gaming and Play Anywhere. Halo: Campaign Evolved aims to blend nostalgia with modern gaming advancements. Utilizing Unreal Engine 5, the remake promises breathtaking 4K visuals, re-recorded voice lines, updated animations, and remastered music to enhance the beloved experience from 2001.
