Realme C71 5G launched with 6300mAh battery, reverse wireless charging at Rs 7,699

Realme has officially introduced its new budget-friendly 5G smartphone, the C71 5G, in India, with an attractive starting price of ₹7,699. This device stands out for its robust 6300mAh battery, promising exceptional longevity, and features a sleek profile at just 7.94mm thick. Under the hood, the C71 5G is equipped with the UNISOC T7250 octa-core processor, crafted on a 12nm architecture. It harnesses the power of Cortex-A75 and A55 cores, complemented by the Mali-G57 GPU. The smartphone operates on Realme's user interface, which is based on Android 15, and offers virtual RAM expansion for enhanced multitasking capabilities. The star feature of this device is undeniably its massive battery, which Realme claims can sustain usage for up to two days on a single charge. Additionally, the phone supports reverse charging at 6W, enabling it to serve as a power bank for other gadgets. Aesthetically, the C71 5G showcases a unique "Pulse Light" effect, available in nine vibrant colors and five different lighting modes that react to notifications, such as incoming calls and messages. In terms of audio, it promises a significant boost with what the company describes as “300% Ultra Volume,” further enhanced with amplification algorithms and AI-driven noise reduction for clearer calls. The smartphone is fitted with a 13MP rear camera, featuring PDAF autofocus and an f/2.2 aperture, supported by the Omnivision OV13B sensor. Its camera capabilities include Pro mode, AI Eraser, dual-view video, slow-motion, and time-lapse functionalities. On the front, users will find a 5MP camera that includes gesture-based capture and a 76.6° field of view. Realme is offering the C71 5G in two storage configurations, ensuring that users can choose the option that best fits their needs. Additionally, the device boasts durability features under the “Armor Shell” protection branding, having successfully passed rigorous military-grade drop and compression tests, including a drop from 1.8 meters and a pressure test of 33kg.
