Realme launches Android 16-based UI 7.0 with Light Glass: Eligible devices

Realme has officially launched its Realme UI 7.0, showcasing a variety of design innovations and AI enhancements. This new user interface, built on the Android 16 framework, will debut on the recently introduced Realme GT 8 Pro. One of the standout features of Realme UI 7.0 is the 'Light Glass Design,' which draws inspiration from Apple's Liquid Glass aesthetic. The interface has been refreshed with newly designed app icons, referred to as Ice Cube Icons, characterized by their square shape with rounded corners, providing a more tactile experience. Another notable addition is the Misty Glass Control Centre, which gives the quick settings menu a stylish frosted, translucent appearance. Users can also look forward to the dynamic Breathing Dock that adjusts its layout based on the movement of other elements, along with fresh widgets and enhanced lock screen customization options. The update also introduces Flux Theme 2.0, allowing for larger text fonts and an expansive Always-On Display. Users can personalize their devices with live photos and video wallpapers, complemented by an AI-driven Dynamic Depth of Field effect. Additionally, fingerprint animations can be customized for a unique touch. Realme UI 7.0 is packed with AI features, such as AI Notify Brief, which condenses non-urgent notifications for users to review at their convenience. The AI Framing Master aids in photo composition, while the AI Gaming Coach is designed to optimize gaming performance. Moreover, this update enhances connectivity with iPhones and Apple Watches, enabling Realme users to access calls, messages, and health data directly from their smartphones. The Multi-task Sidebar feature allows users to access various tools and apps without interrupting their current activity. Powered by the Flux Engine, Realme UI 7.0 promises significant performance boosts, including a 15% increase in overall responsiveness, a 22% enhancement in daily performance, and a 29% improvement in app scrolling smoothness.
