Realme showcases massive 15,000mAh battery phone with up to 4 days

Realme has introduced an innovative concept phone featuring an astounding 15,000mAh battery, which the company believes marks a significant advancement in smartphone battery technology. Earlier this year, Realme had already made waves with a model equipped with a 10,000mAh battery. Since then, the Indian market has seen a surge of devices offering 7,000mAh batteries, and rumors suggest that other brands may soon launch phones with 8,000mAh batteries. Rumors indicate that Realme is also contemplating the release of its 10,000mAh battery phone in India, although there has been no official announcement regarding this. In the meantime, the company has revealed another concept device that shares a design aesthetic with the previous 10,000mAh model, albeit with a modified camera setup featuring two horizontally stacked camera cutouts. The standout feature of this new phone is its 15,000mAh battery, which employs cutting-edge 100% full silicone anode technology, boasting an impressive energy density of 1200 Wh/L. Realme claims that users can expect up to four days of usage on a single charge. Additionally, the phone is said to support 18 hours of continuous video recording and 53 hours of video playback without needing a recharge. Despite housing such a massive battery, Realme asserts that the phone maintains a slim profile of just 8.89mm. It also includes reverse charging capabilities, allowing it to potentially function as a power bank. While specific details about the phone's features remain sparse, leaks from Weibo suggest it will sport a 6.7-inch display and run on Realme UI 6.0, based on Android 15. It is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, commonly found in budget smartphones. Equipped with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, this device was showcased during Realme's 7-year anniversary event, alongside another innovative product: the Chill Fan phone. This model features an internal fan utilizing thermoelectric cooling (TEC) technology, which Realme claims is typically reserved for external cooling systems. According to the company, this technology enables significant cooling, reducing device temperatures by up to 6 degrees Celsius, thereby enhancing performance during intensive gaming sessions with titles like Genshin Impact and Honkai.
