Realme is gearing up for the launch of its P4 5G and P4 Pro 5G smartphones in India on August 20. Prior to the official unveiling, the company’s Chief Marketing Officer, Francis Wong, has revealed that the base model of the Realme P4 5G will retail for Rs. 17,499. This price reflects potential bank discounts, indicating that the actual retail price might be marginally higher. In comparison, the previously launched Realme P3 5G debuted at Rs. 16,999 but could be purchased for Rs. 14,999 after a Rs. 2,000 bank offer. The upcoming P4 5G is set to boast a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G processor, complemented by a dedicated Pixelworks chip. It is expected to feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display, offering a remarkable 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. Moreover, the smartphone will be powered by a robust 7,000mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging, and it may include a sophisticated 7,000 sq mm vapor chamber cooling system. Camera capabilities are impressive as well, with a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens on the rear, along with a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Notably, the P4 5G stands out in the sub-Rs. 20,000 category by integrating a dedicated graphics chip, setting it apart from competitors like the Moto G96 5G, iQOO Z10R 5G, and Vivo T4R. Additionally, the P4 Pro 5G, launching concurrently, will feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, a specialized HyperVision AI GPU, and the same powerful battery with 80W fast charging and 10W reverse charging capabilities. Both models will be available for purchase through Flipkart, promising an exciting addition to the smartphone market in India.
