Realme is on the verge of launching an innovative smartphone featuring an impressive 10,000mAh battery in India. This highly anticipated device was initially showcased by the company back in May of the previous year, but an official release date had remained uncertain until now. Recent leaks indicate that the smartphone has obtained certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), paving the way for its debut in the Indian market. According to well-known tipster Yogesh Brar, the phone, identified by model number RMX5107, received its BIS certification on December 22 and is expected to be available in January 2026. In a demonstration of the phone's battery capabilities, Francis Wong, Realme's head of product marketing, shared a post on social media showcasing the device's battery usage after 30 days, with only 3% remaining. He expressed intent not to charge the device until its official launch, emphasizing the impressive battery life. The forthcoming smartphone is designed with a thickness of 8.5mm and weighs slightly over 200 grams. Realme plans to incorporate an ultra-high silicon content anode battery with a 10% silicon ratio and an energy density of 887Wh/L. To accommodate this substantial battery, the company is utilizing a unique “Mini Diamond Architecture” for its internal structure, featuring what is claimed to be the world's narrowest mainboard at just 23.4mm. Speculation suggests that this device may belong to Realme's P series lineup, positioning it as a mid-range option. If released as expected, Realme would be the first smartphone manufacturer to introduce a 10,000mAh battery phone in India. However, details regarding the fast charging capabilities for this device remain unclear. It's worth noting that Realme's competitors are also advancing in this space. OnePlus is reportedly developing the OnePlus Nord 6 series, which is rumored to feature a significant 9,000mAh battery. Meanwhile, the trend of 7,000mAh batteries has become increasingly common in recent Chinese flagship and mid-range smartphones, with budget options also stepping up their game. Notably, the recently launched OnePlus 15R boasts a 7,400mAh battery, while the Poco F7 released last year comes with a robust 7,550mAh battery pack.
