Realme has officially announced the timeline for the mass production of its highly anticipated 10,000mAh smartphone. In a recent interaction on Weibo, Chase Xu, the Vice President of Realme, confirmed that production is set to begin at the start of 2026, with the device expected to hit the market later that year. This innovative smartphone will utilize an ultra-high silicon content anode battery, which includes a remarkable 10% silicon ratio and an energy density of 887Wh/L. In terms of performance, the device is rumored to support an impressive 320W fast charging capability, all while maintaining a sleek profile of less than 8.5mm in thickness and weighing under 200 grams. Realme is employing its Mini Diamond Architecture technology to efficiently organize the internal components, ensuring that the large battery fits seamlessly into the design. The push for larger batteries is not exclusive to Realme; competitors like OnePlus and Vivo are also exploring high-capacity options. Recent leaks suggest OnePlus may be developing an 8,000mAh model, while Vivo has already released the Y500 in China featuring an 8,200mAh battery. In the Indian market, numerous devices are already available with batteries exceeding 7,000mAh, including the OnePlus Nord CE 5 with a 7,100mAh capacity and the Poco F7 boasting a 7,550mAh battery. As smartphone technology advances, many flagship Android models now come equipped with batteries over 6,000mAh, and this trend is likely to continue with upcoming releases like the OnePlus 15 and iQOO 15. Realme has been at the forefront of battery technology innovations, showcasing concept smartphones that manage to be both slim and powerful. Recently, the brand unveiled a 15,000mAh battery phone that measures just 8.89mm thick, exemplifying their commitment to pushing the boundaries of what smartphones can achieve in terms of battery life and design.
