Realme has announced the launch of its highly anticipated flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 8 Pro, scheduled for November 20 at 12 PM IST in India. This device is set to showcase Qualcomm’s cutting-edge 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, complemented by an impressive 7,000mAh battery and support for blazing-fast 120W charging. As part of their strategy to reclaim a foothold in the premium smartphone market, Realme has created a dedicated microsite on its official website ahead of the launch. The GT 8 Pro will feature the same powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor as its Chinese version, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. This combination promises remarkable multitasking capabilities and swift app performance. To enhance user experience, the Realme GT 8 Pro will incorporate a specialized Hyper Vision+ AI chip, aimed at improving imaging and display processing alongside overall AI functionality. Realme has also integrated a vast 7,000 sq mm vapor chamber cooling system to maintain optimal performance during extended gaming sessions or intensive tasks. Battery endurance is touted as a standout feature for the GT 8 Pro. The device's Titan Battery is said to provide about 7.66 hours of BGMI gameplay, over 21 hours of YouTube watching, and more than 500 hours on standby. With the 120W Ultra Charge feature, Realme claims that a mere 15 minutes of charging can offer a full day of power. The smartphone will sport a stunning 2K resolution display, capable of achieving 7,000 nits of peak brightness, along with a 144Hz refresh rate for fluid visuals. Furthermore, the GT 8 Pro will come with an IP69 rating, ensuring robust protection against dust and water. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the triple rear camera setup that includes swappable modules and Ricoh GR Imaging for superior picture quality. The device will run on Android 16, customized with Realme UI 7.0, promising a user-friendly experience. Stay tuned for more updates as the launch date approaches.
