Realme has officially announced that the highly anticipated Realme 16 Pro+ will soon be launched in India. With the launch date approaching, detailed specifications of the device have surfaced online, providing insights into its features. According to information gleaned from TENAA certification and shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Realme 16 Pro+ is expected to boast a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED display, offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The device is likely to have a sleek profile at 8.49mm thick and weigh approximately 203 grams. Notably, it is rumored to include an in-display fingerprint scanner and an IR blaster for controlling smart home devices. Images of the device reveal a unique squiricle camera module, reminiscent of designs seen in the Oppo X9 series and OnePlus 15 lineup. Under the hood, the Realme 16 Pro+ is anticipated to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, running on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, with a commitment to three years of operating system updates and four years of security patches. In terms of photography, the device is expected to feature a robust camera setup, including a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Additionally, it is rumored to be equipped with an impressive 7,000mAh battery, although specific details about charging capabilities remain undisclosed. In an exciting collaboration, Realme has partnered with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa for this model. The device will be available in several colors, including Master Gold, Master Grey, and exclusive variants for India like Camellia Pink and Orchid Purple. As for pricing, the previous Realme 15 Pro debuted at ₹28,999, but due to rising memory chip costs, the Realme 16 Pro+ is expected to be priced slightly above ₹30,000. The Realme 16 Pro series will be available for purchase through Flipkart and the Realme India online store. Meanwhile, competitors like OnePlus and Xiaomi are also set to launch new models, making this an exciting time for smartphone enthusiasts.
