Realme 16 Pro+ 5G price leaks before India launch, here’s what to expect

The highly anticipated Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is generating excitement online as details emerge just before its official launch in India. Scheduled for January 6, 2026, this premium mid-range smartphone is expected to debut alongside the Realme 16 Pro, and leaks suggest intriguing specifications and pricing details. Tech tipster Paras Guglani has shared images of the device's retail packaging, indicating a maximum retail price of ₹43,999. However, it's common for the final sale price to be lower due to promotional offers and discounts from banks. Consumers will be able to purchase the device through Realme's official website and Flipkart shortly after the launch event. The leaked packaging also reveals the dimensions of the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G, measuring 162.5 x 76.3 x 8.5 mm and weighing approximately 203 grams. It features an impressive 6.8-inch display, making it one of the larger smartphones in its category. Realme has confirmed that the smartphone will boast a 200-megapixel primary rear camera, enhanced by LumaColor Image technology aimed at improving portrait photography. Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon chipset, reportedly exceeding the performance of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, though the specific model has not yet been disclosed. The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G will showcase a new ‘Urban Wild’ design language, developed in collaboration with esteemed Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. In terms of color options, the phone will be available in Master Gold and Master Grey, alongside two exclusive shades for India: Camellia Pink and Orchid Purple. With its premium design, advanced camera capabilities, and a robust processor, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is poised to be one of the standout offerings from Realme in the coming year.
