How to stop people from using your Instagram posts with Meta's AI

If your Instagram profile is set to public, your photos, including your profile picture, could be utilized in AI-generated creations without your consent. Recently, Meta introduced the Muse Image model, which allows users to create AI images by tagging public Instagram accounts in their prompts. By default, public accounts are automatically included in this feature, meaning others can repurpose your posts, reels, and profile pictures unless you take action to disable it. To regain control over your content, navigate to the Instagram app and find the 'Sharing and reuse' section within the settings menu. Here, you can disable features for posts and reels individually. However, it's crucial to note that any existing AI-generated images created using your content won’t be removed, and Instagram does not notify users when their content is used by others.
