The Indian technology company Primebook is set to unveil its latest innovation, the Primebook 2 Neo, on July 31. This device is specifically designed for students, freelancers, and early-career professionals, offering a blend of performance and affordability tailored for the youth of India. Equipped with PrimeOS 3.0, which is based on Android 15, the Primebook 2 Neo is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor and features 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. This combination aims to deliver a seamless multitasking experience in a lightweight and portable design. Among its standout functionalities are the Companion Mode, which includes an AI assistant for summarizing documents and web content, and Prime X, a Cloud PC feature that enables access to full Linux and Windows desktop environments. Additionally, the laptop is optimized for Android gaming with integrated keymapping and offers an AI-driven global search feature. "The Primebook 2 Neo showcases our commitment to deep technology, with both hardware and software developed in-house," remarked Chitranshu Mahant, Co-founder and CEO of Primebook. "This product reflects our understanding of the demands of the Indian youth: enhanced speed, improved storage, real multitasking capabilities, and smarter tools." Co-founder and COO Aman Verma emphasized the revolutionary approach of the device, stating, "It fundamentally redefines what an Android laptop should be—personalized, powerful, and highly relevant to the way young people learn, work, and create." The Primebook 2 Neo also boasts 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via micro-SD, and provides access to over 50,000 Android apps through a dedicated app store. Users will have the unique opportunity to suggest additional apps for the platform. The laptop will retail at an introductory price of ₹15,990 on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and Primebook's official website, with an enticing discount of ₹1,000 available for the first 100 customers purchasing directly from the site.
