
Xiaomi's sub-brand, Poco, has officially introduced its latest X series smartphones, the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max, in the Indian market. These devices showcase a sleek design while packing impressive features, including the cutting-edge MediaTek Dimensity processors and enhanced camera capabilities. Among the highlights is a special edition, the POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Edition, which boasts a distinctive design inspired by the iconic superhero. Both the X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max exhibit a striking pill-shaped rear camera module, dynamic RGB lighting, and a flat design that enhances their aesthetic appeal. In terms of durability, these smartphones are equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and boast IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, ensuring robust protection against dust and water. The X8 Pro Max sports a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display, while the X8 Pro features a slightly smaller 6.59-inch AMOLED screen. Notably, both devices offer a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1.5K resolution, and an impressive peak brightness of up to 3500 nits. Under the hood, the Poco X8 Pro Max is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, complemented by 12GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM. In contrast, the X8 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor. Each model comes with a dual rear camera system, featuring a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, with the X8 Pro Max utilizing the advanced LightFusion 600 sensor. Battery life is another strong point for these devices. The Poco X8 Pro Max is equipped with a robust 9,000mAh battery, while the X8 Pro has a 6,500mAh battery, both supporting rapid 100W wired charging. As for pricing, the Poco X8 Pro starts at Rs 32,999 for the 8GB RAM variant, while the Poco X8 Pro Max is available for Rs 42,999 for the 256GB storage version. Additionally, customers can benefit from a Rs 3,000 discount when using select bank cards. The sale for the Poco X8 Pro series is set to commence on March 23, exclusively on Flipkart.
