Poco has officially launched the Poco F7 5G in India and other selected global markets, marking a significant addition to its lineup. This smartphone is equipped with impressive hardware, featuring Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a substantial 6,000mm² vapour chamber for efficient thermal management, and Xiaomi's latest Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 interface. Starting from July 1, the Poco F7 5G will be available on Flipkart, with a price tag of ₹31,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage will retail at ₹33,999. Buyers can choose from three striking colors: Cyber Silver Edition, Frost White, and Phantom Black. The device boasts a 6.83-inch AMOLED display that offers a resolution of 1.5K (1,280x2,772 pixels) and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 3,200 nits, a touch sampling rate of 2,560Hz, and HDR10+ support, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. In terms of performance, the Poco F7 5G comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It also integrates several advanced AI features, including Google Gemini, Circle to Search, AI Notes, AI Interpreter, and AI-enhanced image processing tools. Poco has pledged to provide four years of Android OS updates and six years of security patches. The rear camera setup features a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens, while the front houses a 20MP camera. For cooling, the device utilizes Poco's 3D IceLoop system, which combines AI temperature regulation with the ample vapour chamber, ensuring optimal performance. Additionally, WildBoost Optimisation 3.0 is included to enhance gaming capabilities. A key difference between regional models lies in the battery capacity. The Indian version is equipped with a robust 7,550mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging, whereas the global variant features a smaller 6,500mAh battery. The design includes an aluminum middle frame and glass back, complemented by an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers. Poco emphasizes that the F7 5G meets IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards for dust and water resistance. Connectivity options are extensive, featuring 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The device weighs 222 grams and measures 7.98mm thick, positioning it as a formidable player in the smartphone market.
