Poco is gearing up to launch a new budget-friendly smartphone in India, as evidenced by the recent teasers on its official website and Flipkart. Although the brand has not officially confirmed the device's name or release date, leaks suggest that it could be the Poco M7 Plus. According to information from 91Mobiles Hindi, the anticipated launch date is set for August 13, with a price expected to be below ₹15,000. Internal sources indicate that this new model will bring several enhancements compared to its predecessor, the Poco M6 Plus, which was released in August of the previous year. The teaser images on Flipkart and Poco's site showcase the device's rear panel, which features a dual-camera system and a sleek black finish. The promotional slogan, “Power for All,” underscores a significant emphasis on battery performance. Rumors suggest that the Poco M7 Plus will be equipped with a substantial 7,000mAh battery, complemented by 33W fast charging capabilities. In terms of display, the smartphone is rumored to sport a 6.9-inch screen with an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor. The camera setup is also noteworthy, with a 50MP primary rear sensor and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. If these rumored specifications hold true, the Poco M7 Plus will represent a solid upgrade from the Poco M6 Plus, which featured the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE chipset, a 6.79-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5,030mAh battery. The M6 Plus also included a 108MP main camera and a 13MP front sensor. As of now, Poco has not officially confirmed any details about the device, but further information is expected to surface as the launch date approaches.
