Perplexity makes Comet AI browser available for free to all users

Perplexity has made an exciting announcement: its Comet AI browser is now accessible to all users at no cost. Initially, this browser was exclusively available to Perplexity's premium subscribers, priced at $200 per month. However, it was opened to Pro subscribers just last month, paving the way for its current free release. The Comet AI browser is designed to integrate advanced AI functionalities, aiming to rival major players like Google Chrome and challenge emerging competitors such as the Browser Company’s Dia and Opera’s latest Neon browser. As of now, users can easily download the Comet browser on Windows, Mac, and iOS platforms, while the Android version is anticipated to launch soon, marked by a ‘coming soon’ label in the app store.
