He expressed optimism about a future where individuals might be inspired to launch their own small enterprises, stating, "The reality is most people don’t enjoy their jobs... There’s suddenly a new possibility, a new opportunity, to use these tools, learn them, and start your own mini business." Despite his hopeful outlook, many social media users criticized his remarks, arguing that they reflect a disconnect from the challenges faced by displaced workers. One commenter on X remarked, "What a stupid statement to make about something as serious as layoffs. People's lives and livelihoods depend on keeping a stable job."
