These new models promise to deliver superior image quality, vibrant color reproduction, and advanced video capabilities, catering to a variety of creative needs. With a starting price of ₹3,29,990 for the LUMIX S1II and ₹2,69,990 for the LUMIX S1IIE, both cameras will be available through authorized dealers and Panasonic's direct-to-consumer platform. The company touts impressive features, including a dynamic range of up to 15 stops in V-Log, AI-enhanced Phase Hybrid Autofocus with tracking for eyes, faces, and subjects, as well as support for various high-resolution recording formats such as 5.8K 60p, 5.1K 60p, and 4K 120p. Notably, the cameras allow for internal Apple ProRes RAW HQ recording without requiring external devices. The LUMIX S1II is designed for professionals who demand top-tier performance and versatility. It boasts a 24.1MP full-frame partially stacked CMOS sensor and the latest Venus Engine, enabling blackout-free burst shooting at speeds of up to 70fps and open gate recording for flexible content framing. In contrast, the LUMIX S1IIE targets creators looking for a professional upgrade, featuring a 24.2MP sensor, 6K open gate video recording, and over 14 stops of dynamic range, with burst shooting capabilities of up to 30fps without blackout interruptions. Both models are equipped with an enhanced autofocus system, introducing a new ‘Urban Sports’ mode to effectively track fast-moving and complex subjects. They also feature improved in-body image stabilization, support for ARRI LogC3 for cinematic workflows, and dual media slots for SD and CFexpress Type B cards. Designed to withstand extreme conditions, these cameras operate reliably in temperatures as low as -10°C. Additionally, integration with platforms like Capture One, Frame.io, and LUMIX Flow enhances support for creators throughout the entire production process.
