Earlier this month, company executives reassured investors regarding their substantial data center investments, emphasizing their adeptness at managing costs effectively. In January, Business Insider reported that Oracle was encountering challenges in securing financing for its ambitious Stargate project, a $500 billion data center collaboration with OpenAI. Following that, in February, the company announced plans to raise $50 billion in debt to support its infrastructure expansion. Oracle's stock has seen a nearly 30% decline this year, largely driven by concerns that advancements in AI might render traditional software solutions obsolete, leading to a downturn in software stock valuations.
