Oppo Reno 14, Reno 14 Pro with MediaTek Dimensity chipset launched in India

Oppo has officially launched its latest Reno 14 series in India, spotlighting its emphasis on advanced camera capabilities. The lineup features the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro, both equipped with a new MediaTek chipset, boasting impressive IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, along with vibrant OLED displays. This new series falls within the sub-₹50,000 price range, positioning it as a competitive option against offerings from brands like OnePlus and Vivo. The Reno 14 is available in elegant Pearl White and Frost Green shades, while the more premium Reno 14 Pro can be found in Titanium Grey and Opal White. In terms of pricing, the Reno 14 starts at ₹37,999 for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant, with options going up to ₹42,999 for the 12GB RAM/512GB model. The Reno 14 Pro is priced at ₹49,999 for the 12GB RAM/256GB version and ₹54,999 for the more robust 12GB RAM/512GB variant. Consumers can purchase these devices from a variety of platforms, including Flipkart, Amazon, Oppo’s official website, and select offline stores starting July 8. The Reno 14 Pro stands out with its expansive 6.83-inch 1.5K flat OLED display, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,200 nits. It also boasts a 240Hz touch sampling rate and advanced PWM dimming technology, all safeguarded by Corning's Gorilla Glass 7i. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor paired with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU, the device can handle demanding graphics tasks seamlessly. On the photography front, the Reno 14 Pro is equipped with an impressive triple-camera setup, including a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope lens, all capable of capturing stunning images. The front camera also features a 50MP sensor, supporting 4K video recording at 60fps. Running on Android 15 with ColorOS 15, the Reno 14 Pro promises five years of operating system updates and six years of security patches. It houses a robust 6,200mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Meanwhile, the standard Reno 14 features a slightly smaller 6.59-inch OLED display, also offering a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits of peak brightness. This model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor and includes a Mali-G615 MC6 GPU, supporting up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The camera configuration mirrors its Pro counterpart, with the exception of the ultra-wide lens, which is an 8MP sensor. The Reno 14 comes with a 6,000mAh battery and shares the same rapid charging capabilities as the Pro version, delivering a well-rounded experience for users who prioritize both performance and photography in their smartphones.
