Oppo Reno 15 series LIVE Updates: Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, Reno 15 Pro Mini launch

Oppo has officially launched its highly anticipated Reno 15 series, comprising the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Mini, at a live event today. These new smartphones are geared towards camera enthusiasts and are positioned to compete directly with the OnePlus 15R and Realme 16 Pro series. The Oppo Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Pro Mini boast an impressive 200MP main camera, touted as an 'ultra-clear' shooter. Additionally, these models feature a 50MP telephoto lens that provides 3.5x optical zoom, ideally suited for portrait photography by mimicking the classic 85mm focal length. A 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 100-degree field of view complements the camera setup, allowing users to capture expansive landscapes and group shots. Both the Pro models support 4K HDR video recording at 60fps across all rear cameras, including the front-facing camera. In contrast, the standard Reno 15 features a 50MP main shooter, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, along with a 50MP selfie camera. Oppo's PureTone technology enhances image quality by ensuring vibrant and clear photos that consider the surrounding environment, rather than just isolating the subject. Pricing for the Reno 15 starts at ₹45,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, and goes up to ₹53,999 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB model. The Reno 15 Pro is priced at ₹67,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB version, while the Pro Mini costs ₹59,999 for the same RAM and storage configuration. Sales will commence on January 13, available through platforms like Flipkart, Amazon, and the Oppo Store. The Reno 15 Pro Mini packs a robust 6,200mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, while the Reno 15 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor. All models will run on ColorOS 16, based on Android 16, and will incorporate AI Mind Space—a feature that acts as a virtual memory space, accessible via a customizable key on the device. Additionally, an in-built video editing tool enhances the user experience. The Reno 15 series is designed with a triple 50MP camera configuration, ensuring high-quality photography capabilities. It features a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, an aluminum frame, and an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. The launch event, streamed live on the company's YouTube channel, has already generated excitement among tech enthusiasts, and more details are expected to be unveiled shortly. With competitive specifications, including AMOLED displays with peak brightness reaching up to 3,600 nits, the Reno 15 series is primed to make a significant impact in the smartphone market, standing tall against rivals like the Vivo X200 FE and OnePlus 13s. Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting launch.
