Oppo has officially introduced its newest budget smartphone in India, the K13x 5G, targeting the competitive sub-₹15,000 market. This device goes head-to-head with contenders such as the Infinix Note 50s, iQOO Z10x, and Realme P3. Equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, the Oppo K13x 5G boasts a formidable 50MP primary camera, ensuring it stands out in the crowded smartphone landscape. It also features an IP65 rating alongside military-grade MIL-STD-810H certification, highlighting its durability. Pricing for the K13x 5G starts at ₹11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM option is available for ₹12,999. The top-tier model, which includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is priced at ₹14,999. Buyers can choose from two striking colors: Midnight Violet and Sunset Peach. The smartphone will be available for purchase on Flipkart and Oppo’s official website starting from June 27 at noon. The K13x 5G features a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching up to 1,000 nits, safeguarded by Panda Glass. Performance-wise, it is powered by the Dimensity 6300 chip and paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Users have the choice of 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and storage options go up to 256GB, with a microSD slot allowing expansion up to 1TB. In terms of photography, the device includes a dual-camera setup featuring a 50MP OV50D primary lens and a 2MP portrait sensor, capable of recording videos in 1080p at 60fps. For selfies, there’s an 8MP front camera that can also capture 1080p video at 30fps. Running on Oppo's ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, the K13x 5G promises four years of operating system updates along with six years of security patches. Powering the device is a 6,000mAh battery, complemented by support for 45W SuperVOOC fast charging, ensuring users stay connected longer without frequent charging interruptions.
