Oppo India launches Reno15 series featuring 200MP AI portrait camera and new ‘Pro Mini’ variant

Oppo India has officially launched its highly anticipated Reno 15 Series, introducing four smartphones designed to cater to young adventurers and photography lovers. This new lineup includes the Reno 15 Pro 5G, Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G, the standard Reno 15 5G, and the budget-friendly Reno 15C. With this series, Oppo aims to fill the gap between affordable options and high-end devices, offering something for everyone across different price ranges. At the heart of the Reno 15 Pro 5G and the compact Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G is a powerful 200MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera, complemented by a 50MP telephoto lens capable of 3.5x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom. The advanced PureTone Imaging Technology enhances skin tones and exposure even in challenging lighting conditions, making these devices ideal for capturing stunning portraits. The standard Reno 15 features a robust camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The more modest Reno 15C still offers a capable 50MP primary camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens. Every model in the series boasts a 50MP front-facing camera, ensuring impressive selfies. New software capabilities include the innovative 'Pop-out' feature, which allows users to merge multiple photos or LivePhotos into engaging, multi-layered compositions. Additionally, the Reno 15 series introduces AI Editor 3.0, featuring 'AI Portrait Glow' for intelligent scene lighting and 'AI Motion Photo Slow-Mo' for capturing high-speed moments with precision. In terms of durability and design, the Reno 15 Series presents the 'All-Round Armour Body,' featuring an aerospace-grade aluminum frame that significantly enhances strength. Oppo has also integrated 'Sponge Bionic Cushioning' to protect internal components from impact damage. The devices come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, ensuring resistance to dust and water immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Performance-wise, the Pro models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, while the standard Reno 15 uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Battery capacities range from 6,200mAh to 6,500mAh, and all models support rapid 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, with the Reno 15 Pro also offering 50W AirVOOC wireless charging. Pricing for the models starts at Rs 67,999 for the Reno 15 Pro (12GB + 256GB) and goes up to Rs 72,999 for the 12GB + 512GB variant. The Reno 15 Pro Mini is priced at Rs 59,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and Rs 64,999 for the 12GB + 512GB. The standard Reno 15 is available in three configurations, starting from Rs 45,999 to Rs 53,999. The series will be available for purchase starting January 13, 2026, through various platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, and retail stores. The Reno 15C is expected to launch in February, priced at Rs 34,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and Rs 37,999 for the 12GB + 256GB option. Alongside the smartphones, Oppo also introduced the Pad 5 tablet and the Enco Buds3 Pro+ earphones. The Pad 5 features a large 12.1-inch 2.8K anti-glare display and a powerful 10,050mAh battery, with pricing starting at Rs 26,999. The Enco Buds 3 Pro+ come with a 12.4mm driver for enhanced sound quality and offer up to 54 hours of playback, priced at Rs 2,499.
