Oppo F31 5G series confirmed to launch in India on 15 September: What to expect?

Oppo has officially announced that it will introduce its latest F31 series 5G smartphones in India on September 15. The promotional material highlights the slogan “Durable Champion” and showcases two distinct devices: one in a striking golden hue and the other in a deep blue, both featuring a circular camera module. The anticipated lineup includes three models: the F31, F31 Pro, and F31 Pro+. According to insider information from tipster Paras Guglani, the base model, Oppo F31, is expected to boast a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering this device is likely to be the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, complemented by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the camera front, it may feature a 50MP main sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor, and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies. Additionally, it is speculated to be equipped with a robust 7,000mAh battery supporting 80W fast charging. The F31 Pro is rumored to retain the same display specifications but will utilize the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chip. It is expected to maintain a similar rear camera configuration while upgrading the front camera to a more powerful 32MP. The top-tier model, the F31 Pro+, is anticipated to feature a larger 6.79-inch AMOLED display with the same 120Hz refresh rate. This variant is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and may offer up to 256GB of storage. All three models in the F31 series are expected to come with impressive IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, indicating that they can withstand immersion in water for up to 30 minutes and handle jets of water from any angle. Another highlight of the F31 series could be its “360-degree Armor Body” along with a sleek and lightweight design. While pricing details have not been officially disclosed, if trends from last year continue, the F31 might be priced between ₹20,000 and ₹25,000, the F31 Pro could range from ₹25,000 to ₹30,000, and the F31 Pro+ might fall within the ₹30,000 to ₹35,000 range.
