OpenAI has officially introduced GPT-5, its latest flagship AI model, which is set to revolutionize the functionality of ChatGPT. Released on Thursday, this model marks OpenAI's first 'unified' AI system, seamlessly integrating the reasoning capabilities of its previous o-series with the rapid response features characteristic of the GPT series. This advancement heralds a transformative chapter for both ChatGPT and OpenAI, emphasizing the company's ambition to create AI systems that function more as agents than mere chatbots.
