OpenAI has launched an innovative feature known as Record mode for ChatGPT users on macOS, designed to enhance the productivity of meetings, brainstorming sessions, and spontaneous thoughts. This new functionality is being made available to ChatGPT Pro, Enterprise, and Edu users at no extra charge. In a recent announcement on X, the company shared, "Record mode is rolling out today in ChatGPT to Pro, Enterprise, and Edu users. Available on macOS desktop app." This feature allows users to capture conversations directly within the ChatGPT application. Once recorded, the AI transcribes the audio, highlights essential points, and even suggests follow-up tasks or code snippets, making it a valuable tool for those looking to streamline note-taking or preserve real-time ideas while on the move. In addition to this feature, OpenAI has also expanded access to its image generation tool for all WhatsApp users. This tool, initially introduced via an experimental chatbot named 1-800-ChatGPT last December, enables users to create images and interact with ChatGPT directly on WhatsApp, eliminating the need for a separate application or login. With these advancements, OpenAI is significantly enhancing the functionality of ChatGPT for both professional and personal use, underscoring its commitment to integrating AI into everyday workflows.
