After dissing Anthropic for limiting Mythos, OpenAI restricts access to Cyber, too

To gain access, interested users must fill out an application form on OpenAI's website, detailing their credentials and intended use of the tool. Cyber is designed to assist in various cybersecurity tasks, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and malware reverse engineering. This powerful toolkit aims to help organizations identify security weaknesses and test their defenses. However, there are concerns about the potential misuse of such tools, which could fall into the hands of malicious actors. Previously, Altman criticized Anthropic's strategy as fear-based marketing.
