OnePlus has officially introduced its newest mid-range tablet, the OnePlus Pad Go 2, in India. This device is set to challenge competitors like the Redmi Pad Pro and Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+. The pricing for the Pad Go 2 starts at ₹26,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM/256GB Wi-Fi model is available for ₹29,999. For those interested in the 5G variant, it is priced at ₹32,999. The tablet is offered in two attractive color options: a sleek matte-finished Shadow Black and a stylish textured Lavender Drift. Notably, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is the company's first budget tablet to include stylus support, with the OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo sold separately, boasting a remarkable battery life of up to 20 hours. In terms of display and design, the Pad Go 2 features a 12.1-inch 2.8K LCD display, offering a resolution of 2800 x 1980 pixels and a pixel density of 284 ppi. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can achieve a peak brightness of 900 nits. OnePlus highlights the tablet's 7:5 aspect ratio, which they claim provides 14% more usable area than traditional 16:10 screens, making it ideal for reading and productivity tasks. The device is impressively slim at just 6.83mm and weighs under 600 grams. Under the hood, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, built on a 4nm process, and features 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM along with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The tablet runs on OxygenOS 16, based on Android 16, and has received TÜV SÜD certification for 48 months of sustained performance. The device packs a substantial 10,050mAh battery, which supports 33W wired fast charging, although a 45W charger is included in the box. Additionally, it features 6.5W reverse charging, allowing it to function as a power bank for smartphones in urgent situations. The OnePlus Pad Go 2 marks the company's first foray into 5G tablets, with this capability exclusive to the premium Shadow Black model, enabling users to make phone calls and send messages directly using a SIM card. Enhanced connectivity options with other OnePlus devices are also available, including phone screen mirroring, clipboard synchronization, and mobile data sharing.
