OnePlus is gearing up for a significant launch event scheduled for July 8, 2025, where it will introduce its latest mid-range smartphones and audio accessories. The eagerly anticipated Summer Launch Event will feature the debut of the OnePlus Nord 5, the Nord CE 5 smartphone, and the OnePlus Buds 4 wireless earphones. The event will kick off at 2:00 PM IST (10:30 AM CEST) and will be available for live viewing on OnePlus' official YouTube channel and social media platforms. The OnePlus Nord 5 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM, promising impressive performance with features such as real-time ray tracing and the ability to deliver gaming at up to 144 frames per second. To ensure optimal thermal performance, the device is equipped with a substantial 7,300 mm² Cryo-Velocity cooling system. Its camera capabilities are noteworthy, boasting a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary lens, alongside a 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus, all capable of recording 4K video at 60fps, enhanced by Ultra HDR and the new LivePhoto mode. On the other hand, the Nord CE 5 is set to impress with MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset, fabricated using advanced 4nm technology. Similar to its counterpart, it utilizes LPDDR5X RAM and has reportedly achieved an impressive AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 1.47 million. The smartphone comes with a robust 7,100 mAh battery, supporting 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, Bypass Charging, and a feature known as Battery Health Magic. Its imaging capabilities are managed by a 50MP Sony LYT-600 camera, which includes optical image stabilization and 4K HDR video recording. In addition to the smartphones, OnePlus will also launch the Buds 4, designed for audio enthusiasts. These earbuds promise up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge, extending to 45 hours with the accompanying charging case. They feature dual drivers and DACs, support for Hi-Res LHDC 5.0, 3D Audio, and a low-latency Game Mode with a mere 47ms delay. Additional features include AI Translation, gesture controls, Google Fast Pair, and dual-device connectivity. The Buds 4 will be available in two stylish colors: Zen Green and Storm Grey. As anticipation builds, tech enthusiasts and fans alike are eager to see what OnePlus has in store, making this launch event a must-watch.
