OnePlus has officially announced the launch of several new devices in India, including the highly anticipated OnePlus Nord 5, OnePlus Nord CE5, and OnePlus Buds 4. This exciting reveal is set for July 8, 2025, at 2 PM IST. The Nord 5 is expected to redefine the mid-range smartphone market, delivering flagship-level performance to a broader audience. This device will be the inaugural model in the Nord series to feature a Snapdragon 8 series chipset, specifically the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Mobile Platform. Built on a cutting-edge 4nm process and paired with LPDDR5X RAM, this upgrade promises to enhance efficiency and performance significantly. Gaming enthusiasts will appreciate the Nord 5's design, which includes support for Snapdragon Elite Gaming features like real-time ray tracing. The device is optimized for popular games such as Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Call of Duty Mobile, offering a smooth experience with native support for 90fps in BGMI and up to 144fps through frame interpolation. Call of Duty Mobile also runs seamlessly at 144fps. To ensure stability during heavy usage, the Nord 5 is equipped with a Cryo-Velocity VC cooling system. This advanced cooling solution boasts a heat dissipation area of 7,300 mm² and utilizes graphene-based materials similar to those found in the OnePlus 13, effectively managing the temperature of the CPU, camera modules, and battery even under intense workloads. In addition to the smartphone, OnePlus will also launch the OnePlus Buds 4. These wireless earbuds promise a premium audio experience, featuring dual drivers, dual DACs, and support for Hi-Res LHDC 5.0 and 3D Audio. Designed for both gamers and audiophiles, the Buds 4 will include a low-latency mode that delivers an impressive 47ms response time in Game Mode. Customers can choose from two stylish color options: Zen Green and Storm Gray.
