OnePlus Pad 3 finally arrives in India, set to go on first sale in September

OnePlus has officially revealed that its newest Android tablet, the OnePlus Pad 3, will become available for purchase in India this September. While the precise date for the first sale is still under wraps, the company has assured customers that they will provide details regarding pricing and availability in the upcoming weeks. The OnePlus Pad 3 was first introduced alongside the OnePlus 13s in international markets. Although it was teased during the launch event for the OnePlus 13s, its release in India was delayed, leaving fans eagerly awaiting any updates about its arrival. As a point of reference, the OnePlus Pad 2 was launched during last summer's event, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with a starting price of ₹39,999. The new Pad 3 boasts a stunning 13.2-inch 3.4K 144Hz IPS LCD display, capable of reaching peak brightness levels of 900 nits, complemented by an impressive 540Hz touch sampling rate. Additionally, it features an eight-speaker audio system for a more immersive multimedia experience. In terms of design, the OnePlus Pad 3 shifts away from the circular rear camera design of its predecessor, opting for a more modern vertical pill-shaped camera setup. With a slim profile of just 5.97mm and weighing 675 grams, it is designed for portability without compromising on performance. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the same chipset found in the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13s, and it can be configured with up to 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It runs on OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15, and OnePlus promises three years of operating system updates along with six years of security patches. Similar to its predecessor, the Pad 3 comes packed with an array of multitasking features, including open-canvas and multi-device connectivity. For photography, it is equipped with a 13MP rear camera featuring an LED flash and an 8MP front camera, ideal for video calls and selfies. The device is powered by a robust 12,140mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, allowing for quick power-ups when needed.
