OnePlus Nord 5 to feature 50MP dual cameras, support 4K video recording on front and back

OnePlus has unveiled exciting details about its forthcoming smartphones, the OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE5, setting the stage for their mid-range lineup. Notably, the OnePlus Nord 5 is set to impress with a dual 50MP Ultra-Clear camera system on both its front and back. The rear camera features the LYT-700 sensor, previously found in the flagship OnePlus 13 series, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens boasting a 116-degree field of view, ideal for capturing expansive scenes with minimal distortion. For those who love taking selfies, the Nord 5 does not disappoint, equipped with a 50MP JN5 sensor that supports autofocus functionality. Additionally, OnePlus has introduced Ultra HDR image capturing technology, along with a unique feature that allows users to record 3-second motion shots, capturing 1.5 seconds before and after the shutter is pressed. Both front and rear cameras will support high-resolution video recording at an impressive 4K 60fps. In addition to the smartphones, OnePlus has shared information about its upcoming OnePlus Buds 4, which will include sophisticated noise cancellation features. The earbuds will utilize Real-time Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), reducing noise levels by up to 55dB across a frequency range of 5500Hz. This system can analyze ambient noise up to 800 times per second, ensuring a responsive and consistent listening experience. The new Adaptive Mode, typically found in high-end devices, will also be a highlight of the Buds 4. While OnePlus emphasizes its commitment to delivering premium features in mid-range devices, specifics regarding pricing for the Nord 5, Nord CE5, or Buds 4 have yet to be disclosed. The eagerly awaited lineup is set to launch on July 8, so be sure to stay tuned for more updates.
