OnePlus has officially launched its newest wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Buds 4, in India. These cutting-edge earbuds are designed with a coaxial dual-driver system, which includes an 11mm ceramic-metal diaphragm woofer and a 6mm flat diaphragm tweeter. The retail price is set at ₹5,999, but a limited-time discount brings it down to ₹5,499. Customers can choose between two stylish colors: Zen Green and Storm Grey. The Buds 4's innovative dual-driver setup aims to enhance audio quality by delivering a balanced sound spectrum that covers both bass and treble effectively. Each earbud is equipped with independent dual Digital-to-Analogue Converters (DACs) to manage audio signals distinctly for the woofer and tweeter, ensuring superior sound clarity. Additionally, the earbuds support the LHDC 5.0 codec, enabling high-resolution wireless audio capabilities of up to 24-bit/192kHz. One of the standout features of the Buds 4 is its Real-time Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which reportedly reduces ambient noise by up to 55dB across a frequency range of 5500Hz. An Adaptive Mode is also included to automatically switch between noise cancellation and environmental awareness based on the user's surroundings. For clear calls, the earbuds are fitted with a three-microphone system per earbud that utilizes AI and anti-wind technology for enhanced voice isolation. Further enhancing their usability, the OnePlus Buds 4 are designed to seamlessly integrate within the OnePlus ecosystem. They come with Steady Connect for better Bluetooth stability outdoors, AI-driven real-time translation features, and quick access to voice assistants. Additionally, they support Google Fast Pair and can connect to two devices simultaneously. For gamers, the Buds 4 offer a Game Mode with an impressive 47ms latency. Battery life is also noteworthy, with the earbuds lasting up to 11 hours on their own and extending to 45 hours with the charging case when ANC is off. A quick 10-minute charge is said to provide up to 11 hours of total usage. The earbuds have earned TÜV Rheinland certification for battery durability and boast an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. Weighing just 4.7 grams each, the Buds 4 come with gesture controls for easy volume adjustments and are designed for long-term comfort. Customers can purchase the OnePlus Buds 4 through OnePlus's official website, the OnePlus Store App, and various online retailers.
