OnePlus 15 with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC launching in India today

Today marks the launch of the highly anticipated OnePlus 15 smartphone in India and other international markets. This flagship device is equipped with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, making it the first smartphone in India to feature this powerful chip. The OnePlus 15 boasts an impressive 165Hz LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K, ensuring vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling. Additionally, it comes with multiple water and dust resistance certifications, including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69k, providing users with peace of mind in various environments. One of the standout features of the OnePlus 15 is its remarkable 3200Hz touch sampling rate, further enhanced by an independent Wi-Fi chip and a dedicated touch response chip. This device is powered by a substantial 7,300mAh battery, a significant upgrade from the previous model's 6,000mAh capacity. Users can expect rapid charging with support for 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. In terms of photography, the OnePlus 15 is equipped with a 50MP triple camera system, utilizing the new DetailMax Engine for enhanced imaging capabilities following the conclusion of its partnership with Hasselblad. The smartphone runs on the new OxygenOS 16 UI, which introduces fresh animations, lock screen customizations, and Google Gemini connectivity with Plus Mind, allowing users to interact with an AI assistant about their memories. Notably, the OnePlus 15 has replaced the Alert Slider from its predecessor with the innovative Plus Key, which serves multiple functions including triggering the Plus Mind and executing various actions. The launch event is set to begin at 7:00 PM IST and will be streamed live on OnePlus' social media channels and website. Following the event, the OnePlus 15 will be available for purchase starting at 8 PM through platforms such as Amazon, Reliance Digital, Croma, and more. Special offers will be available from November 13 to 16, including the chance to receive OnePlus Nord Buds with the purchase of a OnePlus 15, along with trade-in credits of up to ₹4,000 for existing OnePlus users during the first month of sales.
