OnePlus is gearing up to unveil its latest flagship device, the OnePlus 15, in India within the next few weeks. The announcement comes as the company has launched a dedicated microsite on both Amazon India and its official site, indicating that the local launch is just around the corner. Although an official release date for India has yet to be confirmed, teaser pages suggest that something significant is on the horizon for October 29. This hints that the announcement may follow shortly after its launch in China. Early promotional images showcase the OnePlus 15's elegant and minimalist design, synonymous with previous flagship models. The upcoming device is expected to be available in two color options: Sand Storm and Black. It will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, boasting up to 16GB of RAM. Storage configurations are anticipated to include options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Globally, the device will operate on OxygenOS 16, which is based on Android. OnePlus 15 features a striking 6.78-inch BOE X3 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and an adaptive LTPO refresh rate that ranges from 1Hz to 165Hz. This display will support Dolby Vision and Pro XDR, achieving peak brightness levels of 1,800 nits, while the bezels are reported to be as slim as 1.15mm for a nearly borderless viewing experience. Powering the device is a robust 7,300mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, designed to keep heavy users connected with minimal downtime. For photography enthusiasts, the OnePlus 15 will feature a triple camera setup, each with a 50MP sensor. The main sensor will utilize Sony technology with optical image stabilization, complemented by a Samsung ultra-wide lens and a telephoto lens that offers up to 3.5x optical zoom. Additionally, AI-assisted image processing will enhance focus and color accuracy in various lighting conditions. While an official launch date for the Indian market remains unconfirmed, OnePlus typically follows up its Chinese releases with a swift introduction in India. With the launch microsite now active, the OnePlus 15 is anticipated to hit Indian shelves by late October or early November, keeping fans eager for its arrival.
