OnePlus, the Chinese tech powerhouse, has officially introduced the highly anticipated OnePlus 13s in India. This innovative smartphone boasts a vibrant 6.32-inch display and is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Available in a trio of striking colors—Black Velvet, Pink Satin, and Green Silk—the OnePlus 13s is strategically priced between the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R. The starting price for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is set at Rs. 54,999, while the more advanced model featuring 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is offered at Rs. 59,999. Although all three color options are available, the premium model is restricted to Black and Green shades. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting June 12 through Amazon India, the OnePlus India online store, and select offline retailers, with pre-orders currently open. Launch promotions include an instant discount of Rs. 5,000 for SBI Credit Card holders, along with exchange bonuses of up to Rs. 5,000 and attractive no-cost EMI plans for up to nine months. The OnePlus 13s features a 1.5K (1,216×2,640 pixels) LTPO display, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,600 nits, complemented by 2,160Hz PWM dimming, Aqua Touch 2.0 technology, and Glove Mode. It operates on the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, and comes pre-installed with the latest Android 15-based OxygenOS 15. Notably, OnePlus has replaced the traditional alert slider with a new customizable "Plus Key," which users can program for various functions such as launching the camera, translating text, or toggling the flashlight. The device also includes the innovative AI Plus Mind Space feature, designed to help users manage and access content like articles, photos, and schedules seamlessly. A standout aspect of the OnePlus 13s is its AI suite, branded as "OnePlus AI," which includes advanced tools such as AI Detail Boost, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Eraser, and AI Reframe, enhancing photography capabilities. Additionally, productivity features like AI Translation, AI VoiceScribe, AI Call Assistant, and AI Search are included, along with support for Google’s Gemini and Circle to Search functionalities. On the camera front, the device features a dual rear camera configuration, comprising a 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP S5KJN5 telephoto lens that offers 2x optical zoom and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). The front-facing camera is equipped with a 32MP sensor, also featuring EIS support. The OnePlus 13s is powered by a robust 5,850mAh battery, supporting 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. For security, it includes an in-display optical fingerprint scanner, and connectivity features encompass 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS with NavIC, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
