OnePlus is poised to unveil its newest smartphone, the OnePlus 13s, in India on Thursday, June 5th. The launch event will kick off at 12:00 PM IST and can be viewed live on the OnePlus India YouTube channel and the official website. In the lead-up to the event, OnePlus has been revealing various features of the device, which will be available in three distinct color options and boasts a sleek design. Enthusiasts and potential buyers can opt for the 'Notify Me' feature on the OnePlus site for immediate updates regarding the launch. Although the exact pricing has not yet been confirmed, company CEO Robin Liu indicated that the OnePlus 13s will be positioned between the OnePlus 13, priced at Rs. 69,999, and the OnePlus 13R at Rs. 42,999, aiming to deliver premium performance at a more competitive price. Industry insiders speculate the price could be around Rs. 55,000, with hints that this model may be a rebranded version of the OnePlus 13T, which was launched in China for CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs. 39,000). The device is expected to be available for purchase on Amazon, the OnePlus India website, and through various brick-and-mortar retailers. It will come in Black Velvet, Pink Satin, and Green Silk colors. The OnePlus 13s will feature a 6.32-inch display and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, promising significant enhancements in performance and energy efficiency. A new Plus Key will replace the traditional alert slider on this model. The smartphone is anticipated to support up to 512GB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM, along with a suite of AI tools branded under OnePlus AI. For photography enthusiasts, a 32MP front-facing camera with autofocus has been confirmed, while leaks hint at a 50MP dual rear camera setup. Connectivity features will include a G1 Wi-Fi chipset and compatibility with 5.5G networks, addressing the needs of India's advancing telecom landscape. Additionally, the OnePlus 13s is rumored to have a slim profile, measuring 8.15mm in thickness and weighing approximately 185 grams.
