OnePlus 12 gets a sweet deal ahead of New Year, available for under₹50,000

The OnePlus 12, the flagship smartphone from the renowned Chinese tech company, is making headlines with a significant price reduction as the New Year approaches. Currently listed for less than ₹50,000 on Amazon, this device presents an attractive option for consumers seeking a premium smartphone experience without overspending. Initially launched in India at ₹64,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, the OnePlus 12 is now available for just ₹47,990. Buyers can take advantage of an additional cashback of ₹2,399 when using an Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card, effectively reducing the final price to ₹45,591. Equipped with a stunning 6.82-inch Quad HD+ curved LTPO AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz variable refresh rate and a resolution of 3168×1440 pixels, the OnePlus 12 promises vibrant visuals. The display offers an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits and is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Powering the device is the advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, complemented by the Adreno 750 GPU. The smartphone supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and provides storage options reaching up to 512GB via UFS 4.0. Running on Android 14 layered with OxygenOS 14, it is also poised for an upcoming upgrade to the Android 16-based OxygenOS 16, ensuring two more years of OS updates and three years of security patches. In terms of photography, the OnePlus 12 features a robust triple rear camera system developed in partnership with Hasselblad. This setup includes a 50MP primary sensor with Sony’s LYT-808 sensor and optical image stabilization, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom. For selfies, a 32MP front camera is provided. The device is powered by a 5,400mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Additional features include Dolby Atmos support, NFC capabilities, and an infrared sensor. While the OnePlus 12 may not hold the title of the most cutting-edge Android flagship in 2024, its powerful processor, versatile camera system, and impressive display continue to make it a noteworthy contender in the sub-₹50,000 market.
