Nvidia's Jensen Huang says Nintendo Switch 2 has dedicated AI processors

In a recent discussion, Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang highlighted the innovative features of Nintendo's highly anticipated Switch 2, just days before its official release. In a video shared by Nintendo, Huang described the console's internal chip as a revolutionary advancement, stating, "It brings together three breakthroughs: the most advanced graphics ever seen in a mobile device, full hardware ray tracing, and high dynamic range for enhanced brightness and shadow depth." He emphasized the console's integration of dedicated artificial intelligence processors designed to refine, animate, and elevate gameplay in real time. Huang's remarks arrive as Nintendo gears up for the Switch 2 launch on Thursday, marking the company's first new console in eight years. Priced at $449.99, the Switch 2 is expected to deliver a more powerful and faster experience compared to its predecessor. Furthermore, Huang paid homage to the legacy of former Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata, who passed away prior to the first Switch's launch, stating, "Switch 2 represents not just a new console, but a new chapter worthy of Iwata Son's vision."
