Jensen Huang explains how he uses different AIs to get the best response

Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, likens his approach to using artificial intelligence to seeking medical advice from various doctors. In a recent interview with CNN's "Fareed Zakaria GPS," Huang emphasized the importance of not settling for a single AI response. Instead, he often engages with multiple AI systems, prompting them to evaluate each other's answers. "When I receive feedback from an AI, my instinct is to ask, 'Are you sure this is the best answer?" Huang explained. By employing this method, he aims to gather a range of perspectives, much like consulting several medical professionals. During a panel discussion at the 28th annual Milken Institute Global Conference, Huang revealed that he relies on AI as a daily learning tool. He shared that he might request explanations in a simplified manner, suggesting, "Start by explaining it to me like I'm a 12-year-old," before gradually advancing to more complex concepts. Huang's use of AI mirrors that of other tech leaders; for instance, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has mentioned utilizing Microsoft Copilot to streamline his emails and meeting preparations. Huang's comments arose in response to a question from Zakaria regarding AI's potential impact on cognitive abilities, referencing an MIT study that suggested AI tools like ChatGPT may have cognitive costs. While Huang acknowledged he hasn't reviewed the study, he expressed confidence in the beneficial effects of AI on his own cognitive development. "I use AI literally every single day," he stated, asserting that his analytical and reasoning skills remain sharp. "Interacting with AI is a questioning process. To ask the right questions, you need to think critically," he added. A representative from Nvidia chose not to comment further on these insights.
