Jensen Huang name-checks 6 AI companies — and says 100% of Nvidia engineers use one of them

In an intriguing discussion with Citadel Securities, Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang outlined his vision for the future of work, where human employees will collaborate closely with AI digital counterparts. He named six innovative AI startups that he believes will play a pivotal role in this evolving landscape. Huang highlighted companies such as OpenAI, known for its development of large language models, along with Harvey, a rising star in legal technology, and OpenEvidence, which specializes in healthcare AI tools. Additionally, he mentioned Replit, Cursor, and Lovable, which focus on AI-enhanced coding solutions. Notably, Nvidia is committing up to $100 billion towards building data centers that will support OpenAI's systems, as announced last month. During the conversation, Huang specifically praised Cursor, a company under Anysphere, revealing that every engineer at Nvidia utilizes this coding tool. "We now have AIs for all of our engineers," he remarked, emphasizing the significant productivity improvements resulting from this integration. In June, it was reported that Amazon was exploring the adoption of Cursor for internal use, driven by employee demand. Huang has consistently advocated for the coexistence of AI and human workers, envisioning a future where AI agents can decompose tasks into manageable steps, each contributing to a larger goal. Reflecting on his earlier keynote at CES, one of the largest technology trade shows, Huang declared, "The age of agentic AI is here." Last October, he elaborated on the prospect of widespread deployment of AI assistants across Nvidia's teams to enhance overall productivity. "I'm hoping that Nvidia someday will be a 50,000-employee company with 100 million AI assistants in every single group," he shared. The concept of human-AI synergy is attracting significant attention from venture capitalists as well. Recently, General Catalyst's CEO, Hemant Taneja, pointed out that effective AI integration requires careful planning regarding how humans and AI will interact in the workplace. "Some humans are going to manage AI agents. Some AI agents are going to manage humans," he noted, suggesting a reimagining of organizational structures in the future.
