The UK-based smartphone company, Nothing, has just launched its latest mid-range offerings, the Nothing Phone 4a and the Phone 4a Pro, in India. Both devices showcase refreshed designs and enhanced features, but the Pro variant stands out with its advanced Glyph Matrix and premium build quality. Starting with the Nothing Phone 4a, this model boasts a 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED display capable of a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a striking peak brightness of 4,500 nits. A standout feature is the new Glyph Bar, which includes a vertical strip with six LEDs and 63 mini-LEDs. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, complemented by LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50MP main camera utilizing a Samsung GN9 sensor, alongside a periscope lens offering 3.5x optical zoom and an 8MP ultrawide camera. For battery life, the Phone 4a is equipped with a robust 5,400mAh battery that supports 50W charging. Turning to the Nothing Phone 4a Pro, this model features a sleek metal unibody design, measuring only 7.95 mm thick. It introduces a refreshed camera module with a triple-camera system and an innovative Glyph Matrix interface outfitted with 137 mini-LEDs. The 6.83-inch AMOLED display elevates the experience with a 144Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 5,000 nits. Performance-wise, the Phone 4a Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Its camera setup mirrors the Phone 4a with a 50MP main sensor—this time from Sony—and includes a telephoto lens and an 8MP ultrawide camera, all supported by the same 5,400mAh battery.
