The Indian tech brand Noise has expanded its lineup with the introduction of two new smartwatches aimed specifically at children: the Noise Junior Explorer 2 and the Noise Junior Champ 3. This launch addresses the increasing demand for youth-centric technology that emphasizes child safety, educational engagement, and parental reassurance. The more sophisticated Noise Junior Explorer 2 features real-time GPS tracking, powered by a UNISOC chipset and integrated with Google Maps. This functionality allows parents to monitor their child's whereabouts and establish geo-fenced safe zones, sending alerts if the child ventures outside designated areas. Additionally, the watch supports 4G LTE connectivity, enabling two-way HD video and voice calling, an SOS emergency feature, and an auto-pickup option for designated contacts. On the other hand, the Noise Junior Champ 3 is designed to foster learning and routine-building. It comes equipped with a dedicated "learning hub" filled with educational games and quizzes. The smartwatch also includes a smart scheduler to assist children in managing their tasks effectively, an "exam mode" to minimize distractions, and wellness tracking capabilities. Amit Khatri, Co-founder of Noise, shared insights on the motivation behind these products, stating, "At Noise, creating the Noise Junior line was not just about adding another product; it was about addressing real challenges faced by parents. We recognized the need to shift the narrative around kids' technology from one of control to one of empowerment. With the Explorer 2 and Champ 3, we aim to enable children to thrive with technology while providing parents with the reassurance they need." The Explorer 2 boasts an IP68 water-resistance rating and a robust 950mAh battery, while the Champ 3 features a 1 ATM water-resistance rating and customizable bumpers for its unique squircle-shaped design. In terms of pricing, the Noise Junior Explorer 2 will be offered at an introductory price of ₹5,999 in 'Pixel Pop' and 'Arctic Frost' colors. The Junior Champ 3 is priced at ₹2,999 and will be available in four vibrant colors: 'Black Blaze', 'Astro Orbit', 'Cotton Cloud', and 'Arctic Storm'. Both models can be purchased through the company's website, noisejunior.com, as well as on popular platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.
