NinjaOne, a software startup focused on IT management, has announced that it has exceeded $500 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). This significant milestone was shared by the company on Tuesday, showcasing a remarkable growth trajectory as its revenue increased nearly 70% year-over-year. The number of customers also surged, growing by over 60% in the past year to reach a total of 35,000. Chris Matarese, the President and Chief Financial Officer, attributed this success to the company's relentless commitment to product innovation and exceptional customer support. Matarese highlighted that NinjaOne has invested substantially in customer service, spending approximately four times the industry average, which has led to a customer satisfaction rate of 98% or higher. Founded in 2013, NinjaOne provides a comprehensive platform that includes features such as patch management, backups, remote monitoring, and endpoint security, all integrated into a single software solution rather than relying on multiple disjointed tools. Sal Sferlazza, the co-founder and CEO, stated that NinjaOne's unique multi-tenant-native architecture allows for faster innovation, enabling the company to develop multiple software solutions simultaneously. Following a $500 million funding round led by Iconiq Growth and CapitalG, Google’s investment division, in February 2025, NinjaOne reached a valuation of $5 billion. Matarese reported that their customers, including IT departments and managed service providers, have experienced a 50% reduction in endpoint management and support costs, along with a 20% increase in staff retention after implementing NinjaOne’s solutions. He noted that approximately 75% of customers replace four or more tools when transitioning to NinjaOne, enhancing overall efficiency and unity in their operations. Looking ahead, NinjaOne anticipates another impressive revenue growth of 60% to 70% in 2026 and plans to introduce five to six new products in the coming year, some of which may leverage artificial intelligence. Despite concerns from investors regarding the potential impact of AI on the cloud software industry, Matarese views AI as an opportunity rather than a threat. Recently, the company launched its Patch Intelligence AI feature, which offers AI-driven insights for managing Windows patches, and more AI functionalities are expected to be rolled out in the future. Matarese emphasized the importance of AI as a tool for enhancing SaaS offerings, stating, "The true value in AI comes from augmenting human judgment, not replacing it."
