Hulk, Punisher join Peter Parker inSpider-Man: Brand New Daytrailer

With only six weeks left until its premiere, excitement is building for 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day,' the eagerly awaited sequel to 2021's 'No Way Home.' After a five-year absence from the big screen, Sony Pictures has dropped a gripping new trailer designed to heighten viewer anticipation. The previous film, 'No Way Home,' concluded on a somber note, leaving Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) grappling with the decision to have Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) wipe him from everyone's memory to safeguard the multiverse, including his love interest, MJ (Zendaya). Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, known for 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,' 'Brand New Day' picks up four years after the events of 'No Way Home.' Now an adult living in isolation, Peter has chosen to erase himself from the memories of his loved ones. As he dedicates himself to his mission of combating crime in a New York that no longer remembers him, he faces mounting pressures that lead to an unexpected physical transformation, placing his very existence at risk. Furthermore, a new wave of crime emerges, introducing one of the most formidable villains he has ever encountered. Returning to the franchise, Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, alongside Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as his former best friend, Ned Leeds. The film also boasts an impressive cast, featuring Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, and Michael Mando as Mac Gargan/Scorpion. Additionally, Marvin Jones III portrays the albino crime lord Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone, while Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, who briefly served as Peter's lawyer in 'No Way Home.'
