Marvel Studios is ramping up excitement for the upcoming release of Avengers: Doomsday, set to hit theaters in December 2026. The film will first be shown in cinemas ahead of the much-anticipated Avatar: Fire and Ash. Following previous teasers that featured familiar faces like Steve Rogers (played by Chris Evans) and Thor (portrayed by Chris Hemsworth), the latest teaser introduces iconic characters from the X-Men universe. This new preview confirms the return of legendary characters Magneto, played by Ian McKellen, and Charles Xavier, portrayed by Patrick Stewart, alongside Cyclops, played by James Marsden. The movie is positioned to follow the events of this year's Thunderbolts, occurring 14 months later. Alongside Thor, fans can look forward to appearances from the new Captain America, Anthony Mackie, as well as Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Falcon (Danny Ramirez), and Loki (Tom Hiddleston). The Wakandan heroes will also feature prominently, with Shuri as the new Black Panther (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), and Namor (Tenoch Huerta Mejia). The ensemble cast expands further with the inclusion of the Thunderbolts, also known as the New Avengers, including John Walker/US Agent (Wyatt Russell), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bob/Sentry (Lewis Pullman), Red Guardian (David Harbour), and Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen). Additionally, the Fantastic Four will make their mark with Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn). The X-Men lineup will also see the addition of Beast (Kelsey Grammer), Mystique (Rebecca Romijn), and Nightcrawler (Alan Cumming), promising a thrilling and diverse cast for this epic saga.
