Viewers were given a tantalizing glimpse of a Deathclaw, a creature that has become iconic within the franchise. For those unfamiliar with the series, Fallout is set 200 years post-nuclear conflict between the United States and China, which obliterated civilization in 2077. This alternate history imagines a retrofuturistic world shaped by post-World War II nuclear advancements. While some fortunate individuals found sanctuary in underground vaults, many were left to navigate the harsh realities of a radioactive surface. In the first season, audiences were introduced to Lucy MacLean, portrayed by Ella Purnell.
