Humaniod robotics company raises up to $1.4 billion from Nvidia, Amazon and others

A major infusion of capital is set to propel Neura Robotics, a German firm specializing in humanoid robotics technology. The company has successfully concluded its Series C funding round, attracting investments up to $1.4 billion from prominent players including Nvidia, Amazon, Qualcomm, Tether, as well as European industrial giants Bosch and Schaeffler, and the European Investment Bank. This substantial investment has reportedly elevated Neura Robotics' valuation to approximately $7 billion, although the company has opted not to officially confirm this figure. David Reger, the founder and CEO of Neura Robotics, emphasized the transformative potential of their technology, stating, "The future of AI will not only live on screens; it will move, interact, learn and work beside us in the real world." The complete disbursement of funds hinges on the startup meeting specific performance milestones. The surge in investment towards robotics startups reflects a growing interest in integrating AI into physical systems capable of real-world interaction. According to Dealroom, robotics companies have collectively raised an impressive $55.8 billion in 2026 alone, nearly doubling last year's record. While the majority of this funding has been directed towards firms in the U.S. and China, Europe is also witnessing the emergence of innovative robotics companies, such as Agile Robots in Germany and Humanoid in the U.K. Reger remarked on the global landscape, stating, "Many believed globally relevant AI infrastructure companies could only emerge from Silicon Valley. We believe the next generation of AI leaders can emerge anywhere in the world where there is enough vision, engineering talent, and execution speed." With this latest funding round, Neura Robotics positions itself as a formidable contender among the top players in the global robotics industry, competing alongside established leaders in the U.S. and China.
